The MCG Climbing Day
Your standard half or full-day climbing trips start by meeting your guide(s) at 8am the day of the trip. We’ll typically meet in the town of Mammoth Lakes but occasionally we’ll meet closer to our intended climbing venue. You and your guide(s) will take a moment to review your plans for the day and try on climbing shoes, harness and helmets, all provided by Mammoth Climbing Guides. You’ll then set off for your day of climbing. Beginners will learn the basics of knot tying, belaying, movement and rappelling while more advanced climbers can design the exact day they’re looking for, whether that’s building anchors, self-rescue or just climbing as many routes as possible. Take a look at our sample courses to see what we offer.
* Transportation is not provided by Mammoth Climbing Guides
